Anapolon by MAXPharm is used for muscle and strength gains. It is considered one of the most effective steroid drugs, which are characterized by a massive anabolic and androgenic effect. Initially, the substance was used to cure anemia, osteoporosis, as well as for the rapid growth of muscle tissue in people with diseases that lead to weakness of the body.

Anadrol (Oxymetalone) is very similar in structure to the drostanolone molecule, however, it has completely different characteristics. Unlike Drostanolone, Oxymetalone interacts directly with estrogen receptors. It does not pass into aromatase due to the peculiarities of the structure, although fluid accumulation is observed during its use. To prevent this, it is best to drink anabolic in combination with other drugs, for example, clomid, tamoxifen and others.

Anadrol tablets are highly undesirable for women, and for male athletes, the drug is recommended to be taken only by experienced users of anabolic steroids, because Oxymethalone is not an anabolic for beginners.

Application and dosage of Anadrol

Side effects

The 17-alpha-alkyl group in the structure of the drug allows it to bypass the liver without being destroyed, but this makes Anadrol toxic to the liver. Studies were conducted lasting 30 weeks, where the subjects used Oxymetholone at a dose of 50 mg per day. As a result, various side effects were revealed, including on the liver.

In the 2003 Schroeder study, subjects received a dose of 50 or 100 mg/day, while only one of the subjects had a significant increase in ALT (alanine aminotransferase) after 12 weeks of continuous use. But, as it turned out later, this was due to the intake of alcohol immediately before blood donation. When re-analyzing the increase in ALT was not detected. In all other subjects, ALT and AST slightly increased, but invariably remained within the normal range. Thus, the toxic effect on the liver is largely exaggerated. The safest dosage of the drug is 100 mg per day (or less).

It should also be noted that oxymetholone is not converted into estrogen, however, quite often it can cause fluid accumulation in the body, gynecomastia, increase blood pressure, and some others. It is assumed that Anapolon itself can bind and activate estrogen receptors, therefore, the level of estradiol should be monitored on the course, and aromatase inhibitors should be used on this basis, or it is more preferable to take blockers of the above receptors.

Origin of the drug

Developed in the 1960s by Syntex Pharmaceuticals. Initially, Anapolon was developed as a drug for the treatment of osteoporosis and anemia (anemia), as well as to stimulate muscle growth in malnourished and debilitated patients. Oxymetholone has been approved by the FDA for use in humans. Later, non-steroidal drugs were created that effectively cured anemia and osteoporosis, and therefore the popularity of Anapolon decreased and by 1993 Syntex decided to stop producing the drug in the same way as many other manufacturers. However, oxymetholone still remained in medicine, as new studies have shown that Anadrol is effective in the treatment of HIV-infected patients.
