Testosterone propionate can give impressive results in the early stages of the course. Although it is rapidly absorbed, it is not the fastest form of testosterone, and the suspension is superior in this respect.
Since Propionate is rapidly absorbed, frequent injections are required to maintain peak testosterone levels. Therefore, it is recommended to enter it every two days.
Injections of Testosterone Propionate can be painful for many users, regularly causing soreness or even lameness (after an injection in the leg).
Benefits of Testosterone Propionate
The overall benefits of testosterone propionate are generally the same as with any other testosterone ester.
So, with the first testosterone intake, strongmen can gain about 9 kg of lean muscle mass (combined with some fat loss). Strength will also increase dramatically in the first few weeks and then slowly continue to increase until the end of the cycle.
The main difference with propionate is that results appear earlier in the cycle than slower esters (such as enanthate or cypionate); it takes more time to get started.
However, the end result will be the same no matter which testosterone ester you take, since they are all essentially the same steroid (they just peak at different times).

Side Effects of Testosterone Propionate
The usual side effects associated with testosterone also apply to propionate, such as:
- high cholesterol;
- high blood pressure;
- risk of gynecomastia;
- oily skin and/or acne;
- hair loss;
- suppression of testosterone.
After the end of the cycle, athletes are left with stopped endogenous testosterone and need PCT to help restore testosterone to adequate levels. Effective PCT usually restores hormonal function in about 4 weeks. Without PCT, low testosterone levels can persist for several months.
