T3-Liothyronine sodium by Hilma Biocare is a synthetic thyroid hormone that is commonly known by the brand name Cytomel. It was first introduced in 1950 and has since been used as a treatment for hypothyroidism. T3 has a positive impact on the central nervous system, cellular functions, fat burning and overall body wellness.

The course of taking T3 for bodybuilders
Many women and bodybuilders turn to Thyroxine as a weight-loss treatment. Thyroxine has a powerful fat-burning effect, increases calorie expenditure, and speeds up the metabolism. Its popularity has declined recently due to its negative effects on the heart; thyroxine has an adrenaline-like effect, causing the heart to beat faster, which causes feelings of excitement and anxiety, which are not well tolerated. However, many of the side effects can be eliminated by combining thyroxine and beta-blockers. Beta-blockers inhibit the receptors through which thyroxine affects the heart, so they prevent the negative effects of thyroxine on the heart, normalize rhythm, and reduce the appearance of some of the other side effects of thyroxine.
Many believe that thyroxine can irreversibly suppress the function of their own thyroid gland. Still, studies have shown that even large doses of the drug in 3 weeks of taking it reduce the secretion of their own hormones by only 20%, with the secretion returning to normal after 4 weeks.
Advantages of thyroxine: high availability and effectiveness. Disadvantages of thyroxine: quite a large number of side effects, but many of them are preventable.
Exogenous thyroxine can cause artificial thyrotoxicosis. In this case, unlike true thyroid hyperfunction, thyroglobulin (TG) levels will be lowered.
Side Effects
The most common adverse reactions attributed to the T3 are insomnia, trembling, nausea, worriedness, irregular heartbeat, and natural Thyroid hormone reproduction suppression.
Storage method
To be stored in a dry place protected from light, at a temperature of 15-25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
Compatibility with other drugs
Additional care should be taken when stacking T3 with other medications affecting blood pressure and heart rate.
